FULL METAL RACKET
While making a delivery of Planet Chow to a living planet things go awry when Fry forgets to secure the planet on the ship and it begins to fall out resulting in the living planet chasing the Planet Express ship trying to gobble up all the tender morsels. After promising to not do anything stupid for the rest of the flight, Fry makes the 'smart' decision to pick up some space hitchhikers who turn out to be representatives for the Aliens for the Ethical Treatment of Mammals and decide that Fry and Leela have been overworked so they liberate them to a mammal sanctuary planet. Bender, not being human or mammal is released. While on the planet they quickly find out that it is inhabited with everything they need to lead an idyllic existence - except for the transforming robuts who consider humans to be pests and look to exterminate them.

Twice Told Tales of Interest
Futurama Comic foray in to the tales of interest episodes of the show wherein questions are asked to the What If machine and we get to see the answers to these questions played out. While Bender is playing poker with Fry and taking all of his money while he sleeps, Leela breaks up the game to which Bender then takes the Professor's What If machine and builds a body with arms and legs so that he may play with Fry and the What If machine. After losing his trademark red jacket, Fry inadvertently asks the question what if everyday was X-Mas.

The A Team
While making a delivery Bender takes control of the ship and begins to do space donuts which opens up a vortex allowing what first appears to be an alternate universe PE team through but turns out is actually one of the original delivery crews for Professor Farnsworth that was thought lost long ago. During their exile in the vortex the crew decide to spend their time wisely and better themselves to make them better people and or robuts. As they are a top notch flight crew it is decided that the current delivery team is no longer needed, their career chips are removed and they are stained with the moniker of 'non-person'.

While practicing the holophoner to impress Leela, Bender walks in on Fry and suggests that in order to get better at it maybe he should make a deal with the Devil - the Robot Devil to be precise. They go to Robot Hell to meet up with the Robot Devil who makes a deal with Fry - a set of robot hands for his set of human hands. The Robot Devil spins his selecting wheel (which contains all robots names on it) and surprisingly it lands on the Robot Devil! Grudgingly he exchanges hands with Fry.

NOW INTERACTIVE! Joystick Controls Fry's Left Ear

After Farnsworth starts to really act his age the other Planet Express employees decide to take him to the Bubbling Geezer Hot Springs Spa to be youthesized. While sitting in a pit of youth mud Bender decides to kick the pump up another notch and douses the entire Planet Express crew. Soon they realize that they all have reversed aged all the way back to their teen years. Farnsworth tries to reverse the reverse aging mud but only succeeds in further reversing everyone ages back to childhood. The problem is that the now it cannot be stopped and all are in danger of suffering the fate of pre-life. And then death.

Soon to Be A Major Religion



 Shown at last years Comic Con I was really excited to see this one again. While assembling a super collider that Farnsworth had purchased from Pikea, Leela and Fry experience some soreness and so decide to go see the good Dr. Zoidberg who gives them some miracle creme he bought from a traveling salesmen. The creme seems to work out fine for them until they notice the side effects of this miracle creme - it gives them super human powers. They decide to put their powers to good use and form a crime fighting duo. Fry as Captain Yesterday and Leela as Cloberella. Bender joins in as Super King to round out the trio and form the New Justice Team. They become instant success in New New York and even have their own theme song:

Monkey Sea, Monkey Doom!
Ever wonder what it would be like to order those cool sea-monkies from the back of comic books? Fry finds out as his supercharged sea-monkies wreak havoc over New New York. In the end Zoidberg gets an early Thanksgiving Day feast with his new found friends.

Fun issue for an old guy like myself who actually remembers when comics did advertise sea-monkies, Charles Atlas books and boxes of 1000 army men.

For you collectors out there this issue was also was released as a special San Diego Comic Con exclusive. Not much is different between the two issues as the interior artwork as well as the cover is the same. The only difference is an insignia bearing Comic Con Exclusive on the cover as well as different coloring for the cover. Other than that they are basically the same but something to hunt for out there.

Of note, this issue is scripted by Eric Rogers who is also a writer for the television show. This is James Lloyd first Futurama issue but has been providing artwork for Simpsons Comics up to this point.
